Chief Marketing Officer
Jack Chai is a fourth year Economics (Bachelor of Science) student with minors in Business and Computer Information Sciences. When he’s not busy being the Chief Marketing Officer of the Maker Club, he enjoys playing Magic: the Gathering with the Tabletop Gaming Association where he serves as Treasurer or helping organize HackOHI/O with team building events.
He currently specialized in financial economics with a deep understanding of various valuation models and macroeconomic trends in both domestic and international scenarios, and how various policy changes in the U.S. would affect business cycles and firms within the United States. Jack primarily focuses on valuation of technology firms, both software and hardware.
His current project is to understand how Visual Basic Advanced works and to integrate those into financial valuation models in Excel. In previous years, he has worked on projects with using C++, Python as well as using R and Stata to perform statistical analysis.
Because he’s spent the majority of his life in New Hampshire, he loves to be outdoors in all weathers. Whether it’s hiking, skiing, or kayaking, being in nature makes Jack feel connected to the world.
